The WLGC Ladies Section

The WLGC Ladies Section is a very active and friendly section, consisting of lady members of all golfing abilities. The main golfing season is from early April until early October. We have a varied selection of competitions including singles, doubles and team competitions, mostly at weekends and regularly on Thursdays from May until Mid August.
Knock out competitions, singles and doubles, are played throughout the season. Weekly bounce games are played on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the winter for those Ladies wishing a game.
The WLGC also offers a 9 hole course, during the main season, for those members who wish to come and play a few holes.
During the winter months our course reverts to a shorter 18 hole course. One benefit of the shorter course is that 18 holes can be played in just over 2 hours.
The Ladies Section organise monthly Texas Scrambles from November to March. These are played on the first Sunday every month. They are a great opportunity to meet other members of the Club. Gents, Ladies and Juniors are welcome to play in all the scrambles.
The WLGC Ladies Section has a busy social calendar throughout the year. Most events are held in the Clubhouse including afternoon teas and social evenings. Other highlights are our annual outing and Christmas lunch.
At present there is no waiting list to join. If you are considering joining a Golf Club, please contact Alan Reid 01506 826030 and he will pass on your contact details to the Ladies committee who will contact you to arrange a game at your convenience.
WLGC has stunning views all around the course and we think it is one of the best golf courses in Central Scotland. We look forward to welcoming you to The West Lothian Golf Club.
